All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth

In 1944 Donald Gardner taught music at public school and noticed that most of his second grade students were missing their front teeth and most spoke with a lisp. He wrote this fun little number one hit song in 30 minutes, which was first recorded in 1948 by Spike Jones and His City Slickers. Over the years it has been performed by The Andrew Sisters, The Platters, Nat King Cole, The Chipmunks and George Strait to name a few.
